Travel creates connections, something James knows about, his photography has connected him to a deeper experience of the world, but also awareness of its fragility. To help give something back from his impact, James works with Hometree.ie to offset his CO2 emissions from his travel. 

For 2017 James planted 157 native trees with Hometree.

For 2018 travel James has pledged to plant 65 more native trees on the west coast of Ireland.
